If you searched "GameChanger API," you're probably a coach who wants to actually use your team's data — not just look at it inside the GameChanger app.
GameChanger does not have a public API.
There is no documented endpoint, no developer portal, no OAuth integration, and no official way to pull your team's data programmatically. Your stats are in there — GameChanger just doesn't let you get them out.
GameChanger does an excellent job of capturing data during games. Pitch counts, at-bats, defensive innings, boxscores — it's all there in real time. The problem is what happens after the game.
You can export a season stats CSV. You can download a boxscore PDF. But that's where GameChanger's data portability ends. There's no way to:
Coaches who want any of that end up either building their own spreadsheet hell — or searching for an API that doesn't exist.
GameChanger already lets you export two things: a season stats CSV and per-game boxscore PDFs. Those files contain almost everything you need. The trick is having a tool that knows how to read them.
That's exactly what Dugout does.
Dugout is built around the same files GameChanger already lets you download. Upload them and get:
AI-generated lineup ranked by OBP and QAB% — not just batting average. With the reasoning behind every slot.
Little League rest day rules built in. See exactly who's eligible, who needs rest, and who you're risking. Never violate eligibility again.
Every boxscore PDF you upload builds a scouting report on the opponent. See their batting tendencies and pitcher strike percentages before you face them again.
Track each player's QAB%, contact rate, and OBP across the season. See who's trending up and who needs work.
An AI coach who knows your team's actual stats. Ask "who should pitch Saturday?" and get a real answer — not a generic one.
Strike percentage, OPS, and OBP tracked game by game with win/loss context. See the patterns your scorebook misses.
In the GameChanger app: Team → Stats → Export. This gives you a CSV with every player's cumulative season stats — at-bats, hits, walks, strikeouts, and more.
After each game, GameChanger generates a boxscore PDF. These contain per-game pitching lines (innings, pitches, strikes, walks, strikeouts) for both teams. Dugout reads both teams — yours and the opponent.
Drop both files into Dugout's upload page. It parses them automatically, stores the data, and rebuilds all your dashboards and recommendations instantly.
Lineup recommendations are ready. Pitch counts are updated. Scouting reports on your next opponent are populated from any previous games you've played against them.
No API needed. No scraping. No spreadsheets. Just the files GameChanger already gives you, finally doing something useful.

No. As of 2026, GameChanger does not offer a public API, developer documentation, or any official third-party integration endpoints. GameChanger is owned by Dick's Sporting Goods and has never released a public API for coach or developer access.
Scraping GameChanger violates their Terms of Service and is technically difficult due to their authentication requirements. The export approach — using CSV and PDF files GameChanger officially provides — is the legitimate, sanctioned method for accessing your team's data.
No. GameChanger has no Zapier integration, no webhook support, and no automation-friendly data output. The only supported external data format is the manually-triggered CSV export and PDF boxscore downloads.
The GameChanger season stats CSV includes cumulative batting stats per player: at-bats, hits, doubles, triples, home runs, RBIs, walks, strikeouts, stolen bases, and OBP. It does not include per-game breakdowns, pitching stats, or pitch counts — those only appear in the boxscore PDF.
The per-game boxscore PDF includes the full batting line for both teams (AB, R, H, RBI per player) and the pitching line for both teams (innings pitched, hits allowed, walks, strikeouts, pitches thrown, strikes). This is the primary source for pitch count data.
Not natively — GameChanger shows pitch counts in the app during a game, but doesn't automatically track cumulative counts or flag Little League rest day requirements. Dugout extracts pitch data from boxscore PDFs and applies Little League Regulation VI rules automatically, flagging pitchers who are approaching limits.
Unknown. GameChanger has been requested to provide API access by coaches and developers for years (search "GameChanger API" in Reddit's r/Homeplate to see the history). As of 2026 there is no public roadmap or announcement. The most practical approach is to work with the export formats GameChanger already provides.
Dugout calculates QAB% (Quality At-Bat percentage), first-pitch strike percentage (FPS%), BB/K ratio, WHIP, BB per inning, and player development trends across the season. GameChanger's built-in stats are limited to basic counting stats; Dugout surfaces the metrics that actually predict performance at the youth level.
No. Dugout is an independent tool built by coaches for coaches. We use GameChanger's official export formats (CSV and PDF) — the same files any coach can download from the GameChanger app. We have no partnership with GameChanger or Dick's Sporting Goods.
Dugout is built primarily for Little League Baseball (Majors, AAA, AA divisions — ages 8–12) and travel ball. The pitch count rules, rest day calculations, and mandatory play tracking all reflect Little League International regulations. Dugout is also used by coaches in other youth leagues that use GameChanger for scorekeeping.
